FREE Web Development Workshop
 Register today for Triad Goodwill’s Free Web Development Training
 
GREENSBORO, NC – Web developers are in high demand locally and across the country. That’s why Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina, Inc. (Triad Goodwill) is offering a FREE hands-on workshop in web development. The FREE, three-part workshop will begin on Monday, August 27 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Triad Goodwill’s Charles and Betty Younce Career Center at 3519 North Elm Street, Greensboro. The other two classes will take place on Monday, September 10 and Monday, September 17 at the same time and location.
 
Industry veteran Brian FitzGerald will teach the hands-on workshop which will give job seekers a solid fundamental understanding of the three technologies required to get started in Web Development: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
 
“Web development is a high-demand, well-paying career path,” says Triad Goodwill Digital Skills Coordinator Melinda Bernard. “This workshop will provide job seekers six hours of free web development skills training, valued at more than $1,000.”
 
While the workshop is free and open to the public, space is limited. Job seekers should register in advance at
https://web_development.eventbrite.com. Computers will be provided, however, job seekers should bring their own laptops if available.
