DESCRIPTION:Rockingham County Help For The Homeless\n\n2nd Annual PMBC 5K Home Run\n\nClick Here For Flyer!\n\nThis is our 2nd annual 5K Home Run event sponsored by Penn Memorial Baptist Church. All of the proceeds will go to support the ministry of the Rockingham County Help for Homeless Inc. \n\n\n\nThe 5K is a Cross Country race that will be held at the Lake Reidsville Recreation Park. The course will be different from last year because they have added more trails to the park area. \n\n\n\nRegistration fees:\n\nEarly Registration through 5/16/2015: $35.00 per person\n\nRegistration 5/17/2015 - 5/30/ 2015: $40.00 per person\n\n1/2 mile Fun Run - Ages 8 and under: $8.00 per child\n\n**All registrants receive a race t-shirt**\n\n\n\nRace runs rain or shine. No refunds.\n\n\n\nRace starts at 8:00 AM\n\nRace day registration and packet pickup is May 30th from 6:30 - 7:30 AM. There is no early packet pickup. \n\n \n\nRace is chip timed by Go! Sports Timing and Events. \n\n\n\nAwards\n\nThere will be a $100.00 cash award given to the anyone beating last year's finish record of 19:45!\n\n\n\n1st\, 2nd\, 3rd Place Male Female Overall\n\nAge Group awards - 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd Place Male and Female: 14 and under\, 15 - 19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60+\n\n\n\nFinisher's awards will be given to participants in the 1/2 mile Fun Run.\n\n\n\nAbout 5K Home Run\n\nPenn Memorial Baptist Church has partnered with Rockingham County Help for Homeless\, Inc. to fill a great need in Rockingham County\, and you can be a part of it. By registering for this race and participating in the event you will be helping families\; men\, women\, and children\, who would normally be homeless\, to have a roof over their heads\, a bed to sleep in\, and food to eat. This ministry is not a hand out\, but a hand up. That is why we feel so strongly that this is a worthy cause. Rockingham County Help for Homeless (RCHH) helps these families to become self-supporting by helping with employment\, catching up past-due utilities\, or rent\, as well as other means of support.
