DESCRIPTION:Double your gift to the United Way of Rockingham County!\n\n \n\nWe at United Way of Rockingham County want to express our true appreciation to those of you who came out last Thursday evening\, September 22nd for our first annual Taste of Rockingham County fundraiser. We hope you enjoyed the event. Thank you\, also\, to those of you who donated to the Williams tournament for the dollar-for-dollar match. Your gift will make a difference.\n\n \n\nIf you were unable to attend or participate in the Williams match opportunity on Thursday evening\, you can make your donation this week and still take advantage of the match. Please make out your check to "Williams United Way"with United Way of Rockingham Countyin the memo section\, and deliver to our office by hand or US mail no later than 5 PM this Friday\, September 30th. If you desire to split your payroll deduction with a one-time gift through the Williams Company\, your entire gift (Williams gift and payroll deduction) will still be applied toward your company campaign. \n\n \n\nSo far\, we have received $31\,000 toward the Williams match with checks arriving daily. Our total amount raised last year was $53\,000. But\, the Williams Company is willing to match dollar for dollar up to $100\,000! We want to exceed last year's total---and of course\, we don't want to leave any dollars "on the table!" We ask you to help in any way you can---and thank you in advance for giving and helping to keep our community strong!\n\n \n\n \n\nPlease contact the United Way office at 342-7768 if you wish to take advantage of this great opportunity!
