DESCRIPTION:RockinghamCountyArts Council \n\nDan River Art Market & Gallery invites Rockingham County Middle School-age Art Students to participate in our exhibit to celebrate art with a Re-Purpose! \n\n \n\nApril 19-May 31 Eco Logical Art\n\nReception April 19\, 5-7pm\n\n \n\n \n\nIn Celebration of Earth Day\, re-use and re-cycle awareness pleases join us in an exhibit of up-fitted and repurposed art and craft!\n\n \n\nHere are the details!\n\n \n\nWe invite 2-d and 3-d work from middle-school age students in all media\, particularly with recycle and earth day in mind. We encourage you to use your imagination! Consider jewelry from found objects\, sculptures\, costume and wearable art\, collage and mosaic. Use plants in your artwork\, wind to power it\, photography of environmental topics\, and a PowerPoint presentation to make your statement.\n\n \n\nSubmission requirements\n\nPlease have all submissions to the Arts Council by Friday\, April 13. There is no entry fee. We do have limited space and will accept up to 3 pieces by each artist. \n\n \n\nSubmitted work requires the following information:\n\nArtist's name\n\nTitle of work\n\nMedia\n\nBrief statement on the artwork (up to 50 words)\n\nSchool you attend\n\nSaleprice or NFS (not for sale)\n\nWork may be picked up Monday\, April 2\, and Thursday April 5 or by appointment.\n\n \n\nQuestions?
