DESCRIPTION:FIREARMS AND YOUR FAMILY\n\n \n\nA SPECIAL EVENT\, 2 PM TO 8 PM\, SUNDAY\, AUGUST 18\, 2013 AT BEAUTIFUL WILLOW OAKS PLANTATION\, EDEN \n\n \n\nPURPOSE\n\n \n\nTo provide a family-oriented\, hands-on\, fun-filled\, educational event dedicated to responsible firearm use in hunting\, recreational shooting\, and family security.\n\n \n\nPREREGISTRATION STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! Register at the Hunting Page  at Willowoaksplantation.com  Space limited to 100 families.\n\n \n\n1:45 All Sign In at Pavilion\; Firearms and ammo will be provided FREE\, and no personal firearms will be allowed. Fantastic door prizes\, including a Remington Youth Model 20 gauge 1187!. \n\n2:00 Welcome and Orientation. Dr. Pete Bromley\, Chairman\n\n2:30 Field Events Begin.  BB-shooting\, shotgun shooting\, archery\, and retrieving dog demonstration.  A competent coach for each and every shooter! Eye and ear protection provided. All guests may shoot. NRA Sanctioned Range Safety Officer Gene Hopper and others will keep things safe! Organizations and businesses invited to display firearms\, targets\, and literature on tables in the pavilion throughout the afternoon.\n\n5:00 Guests gather at the pavilion. NRA's Eddie Eagle will visit with kids and families. Bathrooms available in the pavilion.\n\n5:30 Picnic dinner will be served. Donations will be solicited from co-sponsors and from those who dine. No alcohol to be served.\n\n6:30 Evening Program. Master of Ceremonies\, Rockingham County Sheriff Sam Page. Speakers will include Lisa Walters\, Remington Arms\, Carissa Shelton\, NCWRC Hunter Education Regional Specialist\, Tommy Massey\, Concealed Carry Instructor.
