DESCRIPTION:Click Here for Flyer\n\n	\n\n	\n\n	\n\n	\n\n	Much More in Store at\n\n	Rockingham County Animal Shelter's \n\n	Home for the Holidays \n\n	(Updated Times & Vendors)\n\n	 \n\n	Rockingham County Animal Shelter will host its first holiday adoption event in conjunction with a rabies clinic on Saturday\, Dec. 17\, noon to 8 p.m.\, 250 Cherokee Camp Road\, Reidsville\, NC (next to the Business & Technology Center).\n\n	 \n\n	The Home for the Holidaysevent will include photos with Santa\, courtesy of Don Frederick Photography\, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Photographs will not only include the little ones\, but also the four legged ones.  Photo packages are $15 and up. \n\n	 \n\n	Rockingham County Animal Shelter will run an adoption special on dogs for $90 and cats for $50 the entire week leading up to the event.  There will be different types of raffles to win various prizes.  Science Diet donated 80 pounds of dog food and 60 pounds of cat food to be raffled off with dollar tickets as an animal shelter fund raiser.  Tickets may be purchased through Dec. 17 at the front desk of Rockingham County Animal Shelter.   \n\n	 \n\n	The rabies clinic will operate from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The $7 vaccine is only available for dogs and cats four months and older.  Local groomers and boarders from Reidsville\, Eden\, Madison\, and areas surrounding Rockingham County will participate.   \n\n	                       \n\n	Home for the Holidayswill be an exciting\, busy day and we want all animals to be safe and sound.  If your dog is aggressive\, there will be exceptions made for a car side service and a muzzle will be provided by the veterinarian.  Please bring dogs on leashes and cats in carriers to be seen by the veterinarians.  \n\n	 \n\n	You and your family are invited to visit the Rockingham County Animal Shelter especially if you have not seen the new facility.  This Home for the Holidaysevent will help you get ready for the holidays with vendors selling Heaven Scent Candles\, Premier Designs Jewelry\, Thirty-One (totes\, bags\, accessories)\, Farm House Pottery\, River Bottom Honey\, Debbie Dishmon Mosaics\, Frank's Peanut Hut\, Beadelicious Jewelry\, plus you can even make money by bringing broken or unwanted gold to receive cash from the Golden Girls!  In addition\, Java House is participating to keep everyone warm with a cup of brew.
