DESCRIPTION:Historic Penn House Christmas Open House\nThe beautiful historic Penn House\, located at 324 Maple Ave\, Reidsville\, NC\, will open its doors this Christmas season on Saturday\, December 15\, for an afternoon of Christmas entertainment and tours.  The magnificent 12\,500-square-foot home was built by tobacco magnate\, Charles Penn\, and is owned and operated by the City of Reidsville. \n\n\n\nThey will be taking canned food donations for the Reidsville Soup Kitchen during the event.\n\n\n\nPerforming from 2:30-4:30 will be "Carolers of Christmas Past". They are an a cappella quartet in authentic Victorian costume with an extensive repertoire of both traditional and holiday carols and have 120+ years combined singing experience.\n\n \n\n Refreshments will be served\, including cider and hot chocolate.  Bring your family and take your Christmas pictures in the home or on the grounds.  The event will be from 2:00-5:00 and is free.  Guided tours will be given on the half-hour.
