DESCRIPTION:The Reidsville Area Foundation\, in partnership with the Rockingham County Chambers of Commerce\, is hosting a Nonprofit Education Session on Wednesday\, March 3\, 2010 in the Greenhouse at The Penn House in Reidsville\, NC.  Sally Migliorie\, Senior Associate for the N.C. Center for Nonprofits and Mary Anne Howard\, Sandhills Regional Associate\, for the North Carolina Community Foundation will share their expertise in the areas of Strategic Planning and Mission Focused Fund Raising.  Descriptions of each session are provided below.  The day will begin at 9:30AM and finish at 3:00PM.     First Session:     Charting a Strategic Course for Your Nonprofit's Future          Sally Migliore\, Senior Associate\,  N.C. Center for Nonprofits Now more than ever\, nonprofits are doing more with less.  Executive directors/CEOs and boards of directors need to make critical decisions about how to survive in this environment while thinking strategically about the long term.  In this session\, we'll discuss how strategic planning can guide your organization to stay mission-focused and accomplish your goals. Second Session:    Mission Focused Fund Raising Mary Anne Howard\, Sandhills Regional Associate\, North Carolina Community Foundation Your organization is all about changing the world for the better.  This session will help you determine how to use your organization's mission to develop a fundraising strategy aligned with your mission.  A lively and interactive session that explores how to tell the story of your organization and cultivate your ambassadors for fundraising success!A $10.00 fee per person is required and lunch will be provided.  In order to receive the most benefit for the organization\, we ask that a Board member attend with an organization's Executive Director.
