DESCRIPTION:Mandie and The Cherokee Treasure film screening\n\n at Chinqua Penn Plantation\n\n on the lawn under the stars.\n\n Saturday\, November 13\, 2010 at 6:00 pm \n\n \n\n Mandie and the Cherokee Treasure (rated G) is based on the popular book by Lois Glayds Leppard and is the second of the Mandie movies to be filmed on location at Chinqua Penn Plantation. Starring Lexi Johnson and Hayley Mills\, this family movie will delight young and old as they follow Mandie on her harrowing adventure by train and through the mountains.\n\n This screening offers families the opportunity to tour the house in the afternoon to experience the locations in the movie first hand\, before snuggling up on the Clock Tower Hill to watch the movie under the stars on the big screen. Cast members will be in attendance. Packages for families (2 adults and up to 4 children) to tour the house and see the movie are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. For the movie only the family rate is $20 in advance $25 at the door. For the movie only individual adults tickets are $6\; youths (6-15) $4\; kids under 5 are free. \n\n Tours of the mansion will begin at 3 pm and 4 pm. The movie will begin promptly at 6 pm. Grilled food\, popcorn\, hot cocoa and other beverages will be available for purchase.
