April 10 @ 9:30 AM     Ages 4 thru Adult\n\n \n\n              Rockingham County Senior High Auditorium\n\n                                    \n\nAges 4 thru 14:    All children will be asked to sing "Getting to Know You"\, a popular song from the show. The accompanist will review the song with everyone the day of auditions. All children will be taught a short dance combination. Some children may be asked to read from the script.\n\n \n\nAges 15 thru Adult:   All auditionees will be asked to sing 16 bars of music from a prepared song they have chosen. An accompanist will be provided. All auditionees will be taught a short dance combination. Auditionees may be asked to read from the script.\n\n\n\n**Those auditionees interested in a specific role will also be asked to sing a selection \n\nfrom the show as follows:\n\n    Anna:             "Hello\, Young Lovers"                Tuptim & Lun Tha:       "I Have Dreamed"\n\n    The King:        "A Puzzlement"                          Louis Leonowens:      "Whistle a Happy Tune"\n\n    Lady Thiang:  "Something Wonderful"              Prince Chululongkorn:  "A Puzzlement" Reprise\n\n              \n\n               **Dancers Only**                        "The Small House of Uncle Thomas" Ballet\n\nDancers will be taught a separate dance at the day of auditions and will not need to sing. Dancers will be dancing barefoot and will need to wear appropriate fitted dancewear and hair will need to be up and out of their face.
