Join Annie Penn Hospital Oncologist, Dr. Shannon Penland, on Thursday, April 14, for an informative session on Breast Cancer and the journey ahead. The program entitled, When the Diagnosis is Breast Cancer…will cover diagnosis, current treatments available, and a look at how the Annie Penn Cancer Center can provide care, support and the services needed to combat this disease. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer within their lifetime. Their journey through diagnoses, treatment and recovery not only affects every part of their lives, but the lives of their families and friends, as well. Dr. Penland’s class is free and open to anyone from Annie Penn Hospital and our surrounding communities.
