Audiions for TGRC presents Willy Wonka

Sat. April 14:

9:00 AM - Ages 5 - 7

10:00 AM - Ages 8 - 18

2:30 PM - Ages 19 - up

Auditionees ages 5-18 must attend one of these MANDATORY Audition Meetings WITH a parent or guardian:

10:00 - 10:15am Sat April 14 for auditionees ages 5-18

2:30 - 2:45pm Sat April 14

6:30 - 6:45pm Sun April 15

All Auditions and Callbacks will be held at Rockingham County High School.

Auditionees should dress to move comfortably. No bare feet, open-toed shoes, or flip flops.

This production has some audition requirements that are different from other shows we have performed. Please read the following carefully:

Monologues:

All kids wanting to be one of the Golden Ticket winners need to perform this monologue as the character they are interested in:

I love chocolate. I could eat it all day long. I remember one time I was eating chocolate and when I got to the last bite I was so sad because it was all gone. I knew then that chocolate makes people happy. It makes me happy. I wish I had some right now.

Required Musical Numbers for Auditions:

Auditionees will not be allowed to choose their own audition songs. They must choose a song from the show. Auditionees are encouraged to memorize the audition songs.
