4th Annual Derby Day - A Benefit For Help, Incorporated: Center Against Violence

We invite your company to be a sponsor of our 4th annual Derby Day fundraising event to be held at Autumn Creek Vineyards in Mayodan on Saturday, May 4th 2013. Guests will watch the running of the Kentucky Derby on a gigantic screen, get a commemorative photo in their “Derby Attire”, bid on fabulous silent auction items, enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages, pick a horse to win the race, mingle with local celebrities in the spirit of the “Third Turn" and partake in other exciting forms of Horseplay!

Business support of community events like this is very important. In a very tangible way you are letting other businesses and your neighbors know that you support the mission of Help, Incorporated: Center Against Violence; a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The money raised will be utilized towards expenses that are not covered by grants and other funding sources. Help, Incorporated provides services in Rockingham County that include shelter, crisis intervention, court advocacy, counseling, 24-hour on call crisis line, community education, employment assistance and support groups for children, adults, the elderly and disabled. We also operate three resale shops – one each in Eden, Madison and Reidsville – that sell gently used clothing, accessories & household goods.
