Dinner & History at the MARC: Native American Life at Sauratown
?Most little boys enjoy digging in the dirt before they get bigger and start digging other things. Sports. Girls. Cars. But Stephen Davis, an adjunct professor of anthropology and associate director of the University?s Research Laboratories of Archaeology (RLA), stayed stuck on dirt ?and finding the mysteries waiting to be revealed beneath it. Earlier this year, the Eden Historical Society hosted Dr. Davis. Now, by popular demand, he returns to Rockingham County on Sunday, November 3rd to share his experiences and talk about the archaeological dig at Sauratown. It promises to be an interesting and enlightening Sunday afternoon.
