Free Online MSSC Certification

Triad Goodwill, a nonprofit provider of employment services, announces a new online certification initiative in partnership with GTCC. A free orientation with information on free Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) nationally-recognized certification will be held on Tuesday, September 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Greensboro Community Resource Center, 1235 South Eugene Street in Greensboro.
“This is a brand new opportunity for Triad Goodwill and our job seekers. We are very excited to offer online classes because we’ve never done this before,” stated Heather Schneck, Coordinator of the Greensboro Community Resource Center. “ We are piloting our web-based training with this certification via GTCC to determine the level of interest in our community.”
Students will receive information at the orientation on free online classes, skills training and certification in safety and quality practice management. This certification will prepare participants for jobs in the manufacturing, logistics, retail, sales, and automotive industries.
