The Dan Riverkeeper presents the First Annual Earth Day Celebration
The Good Stewards of Rockingham and Dan Riverkeeper are hosting an Earth Day festival
in downtown Stoneville NC on April 24th starting at 5pm. We would love for your organization to
join us for the evening. There is no fee to attend or table at this event and you are welcome to
bring information about your group and its mission, handouts and provide membership
information (if applicable). Organizations that have a sustainable, environmental and/or
renewable element to their cause are being handpicked for this event so we provide a positive
and unique atmosphere for both attendees and vendors. The main street in downtown
Stoneville will be closed, the merchants will be open and the street will be filled with like minded
groups promoting, protecting and celebrating our Earth.
General Event Information
● Local musicians will perform in downtown stores and on the outdoor stage
● Seed swap
● Face painting
● Plant sale by local growers

● Street drain painting (to help prevent litter and beautify our streets)
● Vermicular compost model

This will provide a great opportunity for your organization to network with dozens of vendors,
advertise and enjoy the great community and fellowship that Stoneville provides. The only thing
we ask is proof of your group's general liability insurance, if available. If you would like to attend
