Building Strong Foundations: Working Together for Children, Families & Our Community

Join the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center for Topics @ 12 on Tuesday, September 22, from 12:00–1:00 PM, presented by Rockingham County Partnership for Children (RCPC).

At RCPC, a strong early care and learning system is viewed as the foundation for lifelong learning, well-being, and future community success. During this lunch-and-learn, attendees will receive an overview of RCPC and learn how the organization connects with families, early educators, and community partners through programs and opportunities designed to help young children thrive.

Presenters Qena Jennings, Latasha Dalton, Adina Tompkins, Elizabeth Sedgwick, and Jeneen Graves will also share RCPC’s vision and goals for the future and explore meaningful ways businesses and community partners can engage in and support this important work.

What You’ll Learn:

• How RCPC supports children, families, and early educators throughout Rockingham County
• Resources employers can share with employees and working families
• Ways businesses and community partners can engage with and support RCPC
• How supporting early care and learning can contribute to a stronger workforce and community

Participants will leave with practical ways to partner with RCPC, connect employees to valuable early childhood and child care resources, support working families, and help build a stronger community.
