About Us

Providing quality care since 1987, Hospice of Rockingham County is a community-based, mission-focused hospice & palliative care provider, and the only full-service provider based in the county. In November 2023, we renamed the organization, becoming ANCORA Compassionate Care. This was a change in name only - to better reflect multiple service lines and a broader service area. There was no change in ownership, with ANCORA remaining firmly anchored in the community, as we've been since our inception.
