13th Annual Walk to Remember

Please join the Hospice Doves for their 13th annual Walk to Remember on the Chinqua Penn Walking Trail at the Upper Piedmont Research Station. Registration fee is $25 – although walkers may choose to raise additional funds in support of their walk (either individually or as part of a team). On-site registration begins at 8:30am and the walk begins at 10:00am. All proceeds from the walk help offset the cost of providing care to those who are uninsured or underinsured. Since Hospice of Rockingham County’s inception in 1987, no patient has ever been turned away that lacked coverage but needed end-of-life care. Free refreshments will be available on the trail. Afterwards, freshly-grilled hotdogs will be available for a nominal fee. Memorial doves to be placed on the trail will be available for purchase on the morning of the walk for a $1.00 donation.
