26th Annual LifeLight Ceremony

On Thursday, December 12th, we will hold our 26th annual LifeLight ceremony.  Our 2019 event will be held at Freedom Park in Eden, NC, and you can drive through the park between 6:00pm until 7:30pm to enjoy the luminaries.  If you would like, please stop by the shelter and join us for some seasonal music and a cup of hot chocolate. 

 

During our most recent fiscal year, we cared for more than 570 patients and families and provided almost $100,000 in uninsured and underinsured patient care.  The board and staff are very proud to be able to say we have never denied a patient care as a result of lack of coverage or ability to pay.  This has been made possible only because of your contributions! We literally could not do what we do every day without your most generous support. This past year we took care of more patients per day than ever before. The demand is great and will only continue to grow. Your support helps us offer the priceless gifts of dignity and autonomy to our patients as well as education, guidance, and emotional support to their families during their times of anxiety and distress.

 

Luminaries may be sponsored for a suggested donation of $10.00 each.  For your convenience, you may make your LifeLight donation online at www.hospiceofrockinghamcounty.com.  As in all years past, we will send a lovely acknowledgement card to the person of your choosing.  Due to the high volume of mail during the holidays, please allow 7-10 business days for processing of acknowledgements.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to call the Hospice office at (336) 427-9022.
