Advance Care Planning Workshop
Hospice of Rockingham County and Cardinal Innovations Healthcare will once again host a free advance care planning workshop in conjunction with National Healthcare Decisions Day. The workshop will feature Steve Arrington, elder law attorney. Mr. Arrington will offer information on healthcare powers of attorney, durable powers of attorney, and living wills. Additionally, Hospice of Rockingham County’s own, Megan Cole, MSW, will offer an in-depth exploration of the “FIVE WISHES” document, which is an excellent planning tool. We will also have information about organ and tissue donation and are planning to have a notary on hand, in the event anyone decides to execute a document that day.
