6th Annual Hospice Doves' "Walk to Remember"
The Hospice Doves of Hospice of Rockingham County, Inc. invite the public to participate in their 6th Annual "Walk to Remember" on Saturday, April 28th. This is a 2-mile benefit walk held on the Upper Piedmont Research Station Walking Trail at Chinqua-Penn Plantation.
On-site registration will begin at 9:30am and the walk will begin at 10:00am. Walkers may form teams to walk and raise money in honor or memory of a loved one. Participants are asked to donate or raise at least $25.00 each. Proceeds from the Walk to Remember will help offset the cost of uninsured patient care.
Refreshments will be available on the walking trail at the mid-way point as well as at the picnic shelter afterwards; hotdogs will be available for puchase. Doorprizes will also be awarded to participants after the walk.
