Job Summary:
Well established Family Medical Clinic in Reidsville, North Carolina has immediate need for a full time Nurse Practitioner or PA with Family / Geriatric experience. The ideal candidate is a Family or Geriatric NP (or PA) with an active NC unencumbered NP or PA and DEA license, or able to obtain immediately upon hire. All specialties will be considered in determining salary. We are dedicated to the well-being and health of our patients, as would be the ideal candidate for this position.
Work Schedule: Patients are scheduled Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, work-days for position are flexible, no travel involved, no nights or weekends. Responsibilities include seeing patients daily under supervision of and in collaboration with Supervising Physician. Responsibilities include documentation of notes, prescribing medication, referring patients to appropriate specialty Physicians and Facilities when necessary, all within practices EMR system. Good / Advanced tablet / computer skills a plus Salary Range $80,000.00-120,000.00/ yr. Experience in Family Medical Clinic setting desired, but will train.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include seeing patients daily, including documentation of notes, prescribing medication, referring patients to appropriate specialty Physicians and Facilities when necessary, all within practices EMR system.
Qualifications and Skills
Full Time NP / FNP or PA
Under the supervision and in collaboration with our NC Board-Certified MD, the Nurse Practitioner will provide Primary Patient Care for long time and new patients of the clinic.
Job Requirements:
- Possess current and valid license from the NC State Board of Nursing for Advanced Nursing Practice
- Meet and keep valid all state and federal legal requirements to practice as an NP in the state of North Carolina
- Poses/Obtain and maintain Prescriptive Authority through DEA
- Competent in using electronic medical records and information systems in providing effective documentation of patient care
- Ability to achieve detail oriented patient assessment, working with diverse groups of individuals and leadership in a team environment
- Passionate about rendering quality and compassionate service to patients and growing the clinic
- Possess exceptional organizational skills, multitasking ability, and effective communication skills to ensure communication with clinic staff, and that patients are well informed of their healthcare needs and communicating clearly all medications prescribed, referrals made and maintenance issues regarding their healthcare needs
- Insures the clinic is well promoted internally and externally to the public.
- Maintain any and all required licenses and medical certifications needed and required by clinic managing members
- CPR Certified
- Willing to maintain and update all CME requirements annually in accordance to policy requirements
